Scholarships

The Turnbow Foundation believes a thriving community depends on supporting the educational aspirations of students so they have every opportunity to become a talented and skilled asset or a future leader. The foundation gives out several scholarships aimed at women who are returning to school to better their career prospects.

Applicants must attend a community college vocational program or trade school in Arizona and will need to write an essay about their career goals and financial situation. The scholarship is designed for devoted, low-income single mothers over the age of 21 who are determined on earning a degree/License within 24-36 months.

The scholarship, and school supplies will be provided on a semester-by-semester basis to the school when transcripts and schedules are provided to the foundation. The Turnbow Foundation will continue to provide the scholarship each semester as long as the student remains in the same program, and maintains a 3.0 GPA or better. Failure on these results will result in forfeiture of future scholarships.
